This Privacy Policy is provided by RealTyme SA (“RealTyme”, “we”, “us” or “our”) to all visitors of our website realtyme.com  (the “Site”) and users of our goods and services.

Protecting your privacy means a lot to us. We respect your identity and privacy and ensure that your Personal Data is processed in accordance with applicable laws, including European data protection law.

What Personal Data do we collect from you?

When you download reports/white papers, we collect the following Personal Data: Name and surname, company name (if any), phone number and e-mail address, as well as the source of your request (e.g. our website, partners’ websites, etc.).

We may also collect some Personal Data when you contact us to request information or ask questions.

What Personal Data do we generate or receive from third parties?

We may generate or collect information about you ourselves – much of this is set out in our Cookies Notice. Sometimes, we also receive information about you from third parties. RealTyme is based in Switzerland and so any Personal Data that you provide to us will be processed in Switzerland. Whilst Switzerland is not in the EEA, Switzerland has been officially recognized by the European Commission as providing an adequate level of protection for data transfers from the EEA.

How long will your Personal Data be retained for?

Your Personal Data will be deleted once it is no longer required for the purpose for which it was collected (e.g. as part of a contractual relationship). In particular:

  • Where we process Personal Data in the provision of our products or services, we do this for as long as you are an active user of our products or services and for 6 years after this.
  • Where we process Personal Data for marketing purposes or with your consent, we process the Personal Data until you ask us to stop and for a short period after this (to allow us to implement your requests). We also keep a record of the fact that you have asked us not to send you direct marketing or to process your Personal Data indefinitely so that we can respect your request in future.
  • Where we process Personal Data in connection with performing a contract or for a competition, we keep the Personal Data for 6 years from your last interaction with us.
  • Where we process Personal Data to monitor and compile statistics about the use of our Site, we keep the Personal Data in accordance with our Cookies Notice.
  • Where we process Personal Data to meet legal requirements, we hold this for as long as the law requires.

Amendments to this Privacy Policy.

We may amend or supplement this Privacy Policy from time to time at our discretion – we recommend that you check the version number and revision date of this Privacy Policy prior to using the Site and that you review this Privacy Policy on a regular basis.

Any substantive or material change to the Privacy Policy will be brought to your attention – for example, by including a pop-up notice on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after this Privacy Policy has been updated (as indicated by the version number and revision date), indicates your agreement and acceptance of this Privacy Policy, including all changes made as of the date of your use of the Site.
