Step-by-Step guide: Group and individual messaging remedy

Hello RealTyme Community,

Here are the steps you can follow if you have been experiencing technical difficulties with one-on-one and group chats over the last few hours:👇

Group Messaging Issues ⚡:

  • Warning Message "The chat room has been destroyed".
  • Warning Message "Waiting for other members to join".


What to do:

  • Delete the group chat and create a new one from scratch. Unfortunately, the chat group conversation history will not be kept.
  • Create a new group chat with a similar name, if you wish to keep the history within the impacted group chat.
    Example: RealTyme Marketing -> NEW RealTyme Marketing.

⚡ Individual messaging  Issues ⚡:

  • Messages are not sent and might have an error message.


✅ What to do:

  • If you sent the message within the chat and ❗mark appears, please click on it and choose resend option.

Despite the technical difficulties, your privacy and system security remain unaffected.
