RealTyme will take part in SOFEX Jordan 2026, one of the Middle East's leading defence and security gatherings, taking place in Aqaba, Jordan, from 27 to 29 October 2026. Our team will be on site throughout the event, offering private live demonstrations of the RealTyme platform for defence and security forces.
For special operations, homeland security and defence forces, communication is part of the mission itself. Teams need to coordinate in real time, across units and agencies, without exposing operations, locations or data to third parties.
RealTyme provides a sovereign secure communications platform for exactly these environments. Encrypted messaging, voice, video and file sharing run on infrastructure the organisation controls, so data, metadata and encryption keys never leave its authority. Built-in Edge AI, including speech-to-text, transcription, translation and redaction of sensitive text, runs directly on the device, so even AI-assisted work never sends data to external servers.
Many defence and security teams still coordinate through consumer messaging apps because they are fast and familiar. End-to-end encryption protects the message, but it does not remove three risks that matter in operations:
- Metadata reveals the mission. Who talks to whom, when and from where can expose units, locations and operational patterns, even when message content stays encrypted. In 2018, a fitness app's public activity map revealed the layout and patrol routes of military bases worldwide, without a single message being read.
- Someone else controls the infrastructure. With commercial platforms, servers, encryption keys, updates and data retention sit with a provider operating under foreign jurisdiction, not with the institution.
- Human error has no safety net. A wrong contact added to a group, a lost device or a departed team member can expose sensitive conversations when there is no central control to remove access instantly.
1. Where is our data stored, and who controls the servers?
2. Who holds the encryption keys: us or the vendor?
3. How is metadata protected and minimised?
4. Can we manage users, devices and access centrally, and revoke them instantly?
5. Can the platform be deployed on our own infrastructure, on-premise or in a national cloud?
These are the questions we will be exploring with delegations at SOFEX, and the ones RealTyme was built to answer.
- Private live demonstrations, by appointment, led by our technical team
- Hands-on experience with the RealTyme app on secure devices, so you can try encrypted messaging, calls, on-device AI and security features yourself
- A defence-focused walkthrough of how RealTyme supports command coordination, field operations and inter-agency communication
- One-to-one conversations on sovereign deployment, from on-premise to national cloud, and on partnership opportunities across the region
Demo slots during SOFEX are limited. Book a meeting with our team to reserve your session in Aqaba.
